Since 2002, he has led Genesis, overseeing all financing and M&A transactions carried out by the firm, as well as advising families on their wealth management strategies. His strong financial, legal and tax expertise, combined with his experience in strategic advisory, have been instrumental to the success of the firm’s transactions and to delivering significant value to the families it advises. He has experience in the sale of companies to strategic and institutional investors; bank financing, including multilaterals, institutional investors and private investors; project structuring and public-private partnerships (PPPs); corporate and liability restructuring; investment fund structuring; and advisory to multilateral organizations. He is a member of the Investment Committee of Alphamundi ALA30, a Swiss impact investment fund focused on emerging markets. Languages: Spanish and English.

BSc. Business Administration, Universidad de los Andes, with major in finance and Certified Public Accountant in Colombia. She joined the firm in 2006 where she participated in the financing of projects and companies as well as in the M&A transactions carried out by the firm. She leads, since the beginning, the development of the Genesis Family Office and has been involved in all the family wealth consulting provided by the firm. She holds broad expertise on financial modeling, business valuation and analysis of alternative investments. She coordinates and supervises the legal, accounting, tax and administrative matters required for managing the family-wealth consolidating businesses. BSc. Industrial Engineering and Economics, Universidad de los Andes and Master's Degree in Software Engineering. With Genesis since 2012 and Partner since 2021. He is in charge of leading the investment banking projects including valuation processes, financing, sale transactions, financial planning and project structuring. He has extensive experience in financial institutions modeling and the development of statistical projections for consumer loan portfolios, as well as in financial structuring of real estate projects. Certified Public Accountant specialized in Tax Auditing from Universidad Santo Tomás and in International Financial Reporting from Universidad Javeriana. Holds an International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) certification granted by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in the United Kingdom. He has been part of the Génesis team since 2017 and is responsible for overseeing all accounting and tax matters for the firm’s Family Office clients. His previous experience includes roles at Grupo Bavaria, the Pension and Parafiscal Management Unit (UGPP), PwC, and Banco Davivienda. Languages: Spanish and English.

BSc. Economics, Universidad Sergio Arboleda, with a major in Regional and Urban Economics. She has been part of the Genesis team since 2021, where she has gained extensive experience in the comprehensive management of family wealth. She participates in financial, tax, and estate planning processes, private investment analysis, family governance, and legal matters, contributing to the diagnosis, structuring, and implementation of wealth solutions in Colombia and abroad.
